Hey, just joined and wanted to say hey and see if anyone else is feeling how i am. I'm 19, 20 in approx a month, and switching to SFASU in the fall... I'll be graduating from a community college this may... and although i am extremely excited to move on to this new college... i'm also still a bit nervous about moving to a school that is alot bigger than my current school. Im excited about getting to know people, but when my current boyfriend switched to this school he said people were not very friendly at first, and he was lonely for the first few weeks, but eventually got out there and made some great friends. Anyway... so my point is.. is anyone else out there excited but also nervous about transfering from a community college to a large university?

Hello.
I am going to a university of applied siences in Germany to major in Social Work. Does anyone know whether US colleges (especially UC and NKU) recognize the 2 years I´ve spent there so far? Or do I have to start all over again?
Also: does anyone know about scholarships for international students?
Any help is apreciated lots! ;o)
Thanks

Hi. :) I'm a community college student in California. I'm currently attending pasadena_cc in hopes of transferring to a UC campus - most likely LA or Berkeley. I'm nervous about transferring, but I'm optimistic...

Hello! No members yet (lol), but here are some useful links:
Assist.org Aimed at Californian transfer students, this site will tell you what courses are transferrable from what JC to what CSU or UC.
Fastweb Scholarship database galore!
